late 85' 944 oil pump question
Does the oil pump have a gasket between it and the block?

No, there is no gasket. You put a small bead of loctite 574 ( it may have a different name now) on the outer contact surface. You will need to do the outer
edge and a small amount around the center contact area. Just don't use to much, you don't want it squeeze out when you mount it. Larry
