manual sunroof and interior question

I need to replace the trim piece between the sunroof and the hatch on my 83 with a manual roof (dang water leaks). The only part number I can find in PET is for 84 on with the power roof. Would a piece off a 924 with a manual roof work? What years had the manual roof? How big of a difference is there between the trim piece from a manual to a power? 944online sells a replacement piece for power sunroof models only, and how much modification would be needed? Any and all help is always appreciated. Thank you.

Yes. All years of 2.0L 924 had the manual roof - 76-82, including Turbo. So if I understand, you're looking for the interior vinyl bit? Might have good luck checking in at 924board.org for someone parting a car, though selection might be a little slimmer if you have a black, not brown, interior...

Thanks. I did a quick check over at 924org, but i wasn't sure what years to look for. I'm not in a major hurry, but that part seems rare, so I wanted to grab one if I saw it. I have to make sure I got all the leaks fixed first.
