Lower Radiator Hose, CT
Is there anywhere I can get a lower radiator hose for an 86 N/A in CT? or with 100 miles of New Haven...without spending an arm and a leg?
The car has the wrong hose on it (an older 944) that I just found had been rubbing on the passenger side fan...it's almost gone. I'd like to get a replacement and fix it over the weekend...overnighting now wouldn't get here until Monday in most cases... Any thoughts?

Anyone know if you can pick up from them? They're closed for the day now...

If they hand you a Gates (some other aftermarket as well) hose from any of the above, you may have to manipulate the hose a bit to stay away from the passenger side fan. Twist at the WP and maybe shave an edge or two. At the lower radiator fitting, do not push all the way in. TA DAA. The aftermarket hose fits!

Any idea of a Gates part number? The reason I ask is that the local versions on the stores mentioned just stand and stare when I mention an '86 Porsche.

Gates # 21590 fits my '87/88 924S. I do not have the Gates part number for your '86 944 (944-106-237-07-M101).

Yea I would check out Napa, They always have some parts for my 924S there

Thanks guys!
I got one of the Gates hoses. Realistically it's not the right hose for the job, but with some trimming and a lot of wrestling it's on there and should be good until the real one shows up (Thursday). I got the 21590 as pictured...thanks John.
