That one will work, but you will have to cut the connector and splice the porsche connector to it. Black to black, and the white wires go together in either order. They are for the heater and do not have a particular polarity. Be sure to use crimp splicers, and Do Not Solder Them!

Be sure to soak the old sensor with some really good penetrating oil as far in advance as possible, or the job will quickly turn ugly.

tahnsk by the way waht are right NGK Iridium plugs for 944 I will love to try irdium plugs in my 86 Can i buy them in ebay waht is correct code of plugs ?

The Iridium IX plugs seem to be pretty good. The part # is BPR6EIX. Any regular auto parts store should have them. I got mine at Pep Boys, as did the O2 sensor.

I was completely sold on Bosch +4 plugs ever since they came out, but I think the 944 combustion chamber might actually be better suited to a standard gap plug, since the angle of the plug into the chamber is a bit sideways in relation to the piston. The Iridiums are the first standard gap plugs I've bought in a long time. My theory is, unless they end up screwing in with the ground electrode facing the piston, the standard gap opens toward the center of the chamber. The Bosch +4's radial electrode setup will end up shielding the flame from the center, instead aiming it towards the far end of the chamber. They would probably work much better with the 944S head, and other motors with a more centered, upright plug position. The Bosch platinum 2's are a good compromise between the two since they don't have as many electrodes to block the flame from spreading laterally in relation to the plug tip. I ran them for ~30,000 miles and they did well.

But if you're going to get plugs off of ebay, get the Denso Iridium Power plugs ( http://www.densoiridium.com/ Be sure they are the "power" version and not the long life or one of the other versions they have. The part # should be IW16). They are a bit more agressive than the NGK's, having a smaller center electrode for a more concentrated spark, and are also not stocked at most auto stores. I wanted the Denso's, but just didn't feel like finding a place to order them, the NGK's were a little cheaper, readily available, and basicly the same thing.
