968 Transmission noise
968 - '93 65,000 Km. Tiptronic.
When in Park, just idling, it sounds like a diesel truck. When in gear it runs very well and the noise disappears. My garage pulled the transmission out this morning and the plate that connects the long shaft to the gearbox shows some play. I think it may be a bad bearing there.  The garage wants to change the transmission.  Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks |
