Nice car...I highly recommend making sure the car is safe to drive and just start driving it. I made the mistake of getting involved in a somewhat expensive restoration process and once you open one can of worms, they just keep coming. My car actually drove better when I first bought it then it does now, thanks to new parts making old parts leak, etc...awww you have to love it

UPDATE........ well i thought most people could be honest. i should have known he's a car sales man for north country porsche ...i was wrong major oil leak from near the starter area .... maybe rear seals ...don't know i'm not that schooled on these cars yet. i knew the car car was not going to be perfect, but when it comes down to it......man to man i expect honesty ....once i get it registered i'll have it checked. .... will do the belts, water pump, plugs, wires, oil, and all the other things necessary to keep her alive for the summer ...any body know a trust worthy mechanic in the westchester, conn area that they can recomend also from what he said about the fuchs hey now i don't believe anything he says that might be a crock too...power washed the engine today looks great...more work to do

UPDATE....again after putting the car on my ramps i noticed it is not a oil leak but appears to be antifreeze fluid just feels a little thick and not the color of oil i spotted a hose on top of the bellhousing case that looks like part of the heating system with some sort of valve operated by air .....is it possible that the leak is coming from there? will investigate further tomorrow ....will see
