Question 968 moly based piston rings

I just got my 3.0 l block Nikasil coated and now stuck with it... since there is nobody who sells moly based piston rings... Anyone has any ideas where to get them?... Mahle can make them, but a minimum batch is 500 sets... if anyone needs the rest 499 - let me know...

Spoke to Pete... (thank you for the contact) - he does not have the 104.5 moly rings... suggested JE - but they also don't have the rings with such dimentions... I talked to guys from Total Seal - they can make the first ring groove in Mahle piston wider - from 1.75 mm to 2.0 mm and can provide with the moly rings of that size... So it's an option. But... I want to see if it's at all possible to find moly rings (104.5 mm: 1.75 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm) either from Mahle, Goetze or some other company... which would Porsche approve. It's kind of OCD...

Checked the deves - they have the standard set of (cast iron not moly) rings for 944 S2 and 968 which is 104.0 mm, but not the oversized ones... They forwarded me also to some other domestic ring manufacturer, but I got the same answer. Now... I guess... I'll have to go with Total Seal and hope they will do a good job fitting their rings into Mahle pistons. I just don't know if I'll be ever comfortably driving that car again!..
