Hello Everybody!

Don't know if you remember me or not but I haven't forgot about you guys! i use to drive a 1987 Porche 944S. Succesfully rebuilt the head without proper tools?!?! Set the timing with a dial caliper? Tried to JB Weld a oil cooler crack??? LOL. I'm going to regret bringing that one up.

Anyways, I just wanted to say HI It's been a long time. I was reading through all my old posts and all i have to say is,.... wow, I was so young and soooo stupid

So, my favorite car in teh entirety of earth is still the 944 and I do have plans to get a nice 951 sometime in the near future. I really do miss my old car. I had to sell it because I was going to go to school and I needed something that was a bit more reliable to drive on a daily basis. Something with a warranty Thats when I got my truck which I still have But I am selling that soon too. Have to get a have little car thats good on gas. Gas is ridiculous and its getting worse.

As for schooling. I never went back to school BUT, in a way it was good that I didnt go back because I would not be where I am now. If I had gone back I would of went for nursing. Because thats what I was constantly subjected too seeeing that my mother is a nurse and because I was working at a hospital. I still work at the same hospital too But I have plans to leave or atleast cut down for now to persue what it is that I do. Can't wait.

As for what I do now,... I'm an Artist/ Designer or an Industrial Designer. I design products for computers at the moment. Everything from cases/ enclosures to watercooling accessories tooooo any and everything really. Right now I am working on getting a product of mine onto the market, a watercooling reservoir I developed. I'm going to The Netherlands and China this coming July to make that happen.

I'm trying to build up a nice fabrication shop here in NJ. I have a partner, A.C. Ryan. They are helping me out with everything I need. I hope that one day soon I can purchase a 951 and do some serious work to it. At least this time around I will have a place to work on my car. I wont have to worry about the Township leaving me notices that i cant work on my car on my own property!!! God that still angers me. Anyways,...

I decided to stop by because I ran across this video here. This guy loses control of his S2 and drives it right into the ocean!

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/410560/

OH! Once I do get my 951,.. I will be posting all my work here But under a new name. TribalOVERKILL. Take care anyone! Drive safe.

Oh my. Good to hear from you man. I still remember reading about your S head job in progress. Juvy, Brit and the late Socal coaching a pioneer, good times, and a great read. Don't be so much of a stranger.

Thanks man I remember all the guys. It was fun working on the "S" but what a pain in the arse it was. I saw some of the old pics I took and man,... I remember the conditions I was working in. I think that was the worst thing about it. The fact it was the middle of winter. Not exactly cold enough for snow,... so it was mostly cold and wet. Frozen fingers ripping a head off of a block by hand. Phew. glad thats over, LOL. But yea, I'm trying not to be a stranger. Just need some good stuff to post. For that I need my 951

I remember when my partners came around for the first time, for the design thing I do. They kept bringing up the fact that they like the idea that I know how to work on cars, that I'm good with cars. I'm thinking huh? I said I'm not that good and where did you get the idea that I'm good with cars?!?!?! They said,... "Your overkill are you not?!?! The guy with the Porsche?" LOL. Apparently they must have done a serious google on me and found my worklog here. Well,.. its just what they were looking for. Now I worklog on everything I make. Once I get my 951, I will work on it and worklog everything I do right here. It will be fun.

Anyways. Go to hear from you man

I have to say the "S" motors are really nice. They look a lot nicer then the other models too. I think its because of the manifold. But I love turbo's
