I am debating on whether I should replace my inner tie rods. When I give the wheels (when jacked up) a jolt left to right there is for sure movement. I would say in the mm range. The drive side is very minor, the passanger a little more...where do you guys usually draw the line on the front tie rod play ???

I'd start with checking the adjustment on the wheel bearings and work my way inwards from there. You may not need inner tie rods at all.
