Wierd AC Problem Part 2. (In TechniColor :)

So I figured out why no air is coming in the cab from the outside...There is a flap that this Gold vacuum thingy is supposed to suck open, but its not sucking, (well, air and flaps, of course). In the video, I do not show the flap, but I do show that how I can manually open the flap when I press the handle-brake-on-a-bicycle-type wire. Later in the video, I also display some other vacuum line handlers that tie into this, that might be causing it. Any ideas?? I also saw how one of those lines appeared to go to a black dome thing by the firewall in the engine bay. It looked like it used to be held to the firewall via bracket, which looks long since rusted off. Please take a look at the video and see if you might be of some help. My rear end is now losing at least 1/4 tank of water because of this Florida heat! SmileWavy

the black dome thing is a vacuum reservoir. before that there is a check valve. see if you get vacuum to the dome. if not the problem is before it. next check each component for vacuum in and vacuum out. that should find it. good luck

Thank you very much! Which one is the check valve? Is that the small gold-brass thing I have in the video? (not the round one, but the square one)
