decent cone filter

i really don't want to start the cone filter debate again.

i am looking for a source of decent cone filter setups for my turbo. the problem is that the filter housing is destroyed and i don't want to fork out the cash for a new one. i've been looking for a good used one for three years now and i am always too late contacting the seller.

so... in the interest of saving a little money, i just want to put a cone filter on there and be done with it. any suggestions?

TIA

Get a k&N style cone filter that you spary oil onto and make sure you get the kit with the aluminum afm mounting plate. There are 2 kinds. One has a flat piece of steel on the end which is a flow restricter and the other style has an open front to suck in air and that is what I use and would recommend. I had to weld a bracket together to mount my afm to because once the air box is gone there is no mount to speak of other than the J boot.

Hi, here is basically the cone that I run on my 944 na but at 40 delivered just for the cone do some research and you may get one cheaper somewhere else. Ebay 150058157540. Wanted to thank you again for answering the questions that I had on my recently purchased 951S. Ed from Ohio.

I've got an brand new adapter plate and k/n filter for the turbo. When I bought it privately I thought it it would fit my NA. The plate didn't. So make me an offer on the plate and filter and it's yours.

Ahh, I will check today I should be in my garage most of the day getting my motor in. Only thing is its for a NA, will that work on a turbo???

i think it will bolt on, but it doesn't have the necessary bracket to attach the AFM to something. don't sweat it. i have another pelican member that is checking on a stock airbox. thanks for looking, though. :)
