Fuel/Brake Line Brackets

I ordered new replacement brackets that hold the fuel and brake lines to the under-carriage of the car.

The original brackets were metal with a plastic nut. The new brackets are plastic with a plastic "nut" attached the bracket. I can't seem to figure out how I'm supposed to install these. My best guess is I just hammer the nut through onto the bolt and that's that. Any ideas?
