That would be a complete body.... Kind of hard to ship, I'd think.

I've seen pics of the build. It's primarily three fiberglass panels mounted to a tube frame reinforcement of the back upper section. I don't need the side skirts or front end.

DPMotorsport shooting brake/wagon, based on the 924/44 series cars. There were some based on 931s, some '44s, and at least one '51. Check out the link, or do a google for them.

I may be wrong, but did Porsche build some wagons in the early 80's...of course only in concept form...? I find it hard to imagine the SUV's they have today came out of thin air ??? (which I am sure they will stop making soon) I think they are missing out on a market of us guys that want a performance Estate/Wagon. I was going to buy a V70R but in was not well kept, just think if Porsche made a 400hp wagon...your kids would always get to soccor first

I would also like to add, I think the 968 would look the bad a**est of them all as a wagon.

I like the idea, but the interior was horrible. Looked like a Nomad's insides, and that's not a good thing for a more "modern" car.

Kinda cool looking though. I wonder how the structure suffered, however.

In tests it was stiffer than before they modified it, thanks to the tube frame they added.

I've been wanting one of those shooting brake conversions for a long time. Very few were made and they cost a tonload now.

This one looks like the just stuck on a camper shell on it. Not nearly as cool as the first one but easier to do.

I can see that, and not just due to the tube frame. It's not as though the rear window added any structural integrity to the car. I'd think that even without the tube frame, the fiberglass structure being bonded on would definitely stiffen up the body back there.

This is what I want on my 944S2....makes me mad because I had a pair of BBS 2 piece wheels from my 540I and I finally sold them...they would look sweet on a Porsche 944
