Ref sensors
Is there any repairing reference sensors if the wire is loose in the top of the sensor? Yeah...didn't think so. I think mine is coming apart. Any cures? How do used ones usually pan out? Anyone got a good set of used ones they want to unload?

You may be able to fix it, but most just replace them. Once they age they start to cruble.

Yeah...I was wondering if I could maybe take the plastic top off and glob some solder in there and tape it up for now....but i'm guessing they are particular about the resistance they run. The plastic clips up top already did the crumble thing so I supose it's gettin close to time. I just want to get by for another week until payday for now...but i still won't have 200 bucks to go throwin around on a new set of sensors.

Brian,
Please do not "glob some slolder in there".... If you go used make sure the cable/connector is good. Here is a cross reference list-Credit to------- dnwong of Rennlist: http://members.cox.net/dnwong/porscheref.htm If you click on the discussion/thread you will get additional information. John_AZ |
