Info on 944 Turbo Cup (Escort)

I would like info/spec/pictures on the 944 Turbo Cup Cars, poss. from the Escort or Playboy series. I have found much incorrect info on these cars in articles and books. I know the 944 cup cars to have bilstein shocks front w/ helper springs/coilover rears w/ the torsion bars in place. Not the same as the Turbo S w/ M030 koni adjustable package. Any info or sources would be appreciated!

Magnesium wheels, that's all I know. There used to be a guy on here that knew it all, George K, or KGeorge, some thing like that. Tifosiman, I think, knows where most of the american circuit race cars are located. The other board may have some information too.

Jon, all of the Turbo Cup cars were "Found" on Rennlist a while back.

I suggest you check there, as they have tons of references for this.

Cheers,

Keith

"Thick as thieves, they are."

Warden, Shawshank Redemption.

Really, who wants to be found when they have such a rare car? Personally, I think it's bullshyt that they can be found. Offering up ownership by the owner is one thing, investigating where it is, is a completely different story. History, where it was last seen, and all the other trails, feeds the criminal. Makes me want to puke.

Those fanatics that initiated the search over on the other board just made the pubilc aware that they were out there.

A ******* trailer is all that is needed now.
