Noise from the oil pump area is this normal?

Am in the process of replacing my belts rollers etc and notice noise from the belts area. I have removed the belts covers, alternator and power steering belts and also removed the balance shaft belt. Started the car and I can hear noise that seems to come from the oil pump area. It may be still the belt noise from the remaining rollers or water pump but it looks like the noise comes from the front of crank case where I think the oil pump is and main bearing.

Is a certain amount of noise expected from this area or should I start worrying? And if so from your experience what normally is the culprit here?
