Well I bought a 944 a while back in 2007, and Ive been really happy with it. About two months ago, I developed rod knock and lost my engine due to it seizing. Then I bought a parts car for the engine. The Guy I bought it from told me it was a 944s, and hit a deer so it was never driven again. Its even has the 16ventillier stickers on it. I thought It was too, until after the swap I was looking at pictures of 994s's and it looked more like an 87 regular engine than a 944s engine. Can anybody tell me what car it is?
WP0AA0949HN450283 Just cause I don't know, and I'd get pictures of the engine, except mines getting the tie rod replaced, because I bent it, towing it home originally.

according to http://www.pelicanparts.com/944/tech_specs/944_model.htm
you have a 944S body, though it may still have a 8 valve swapped engine in it.

Yeah I guess. Its just disappointing I put all that work in thinking it was a 16v...
Well at least I got a good deal on the car.
