What suspension is this?

The parts car I have has suspension that I suspect is not original. The front shocks are adjustable and the coilovers have three blue marks.

The rear struts are sachs and have the part #951.333.032 or something like that

Is this better than what is in my car? Is it worth the swap?

Dont know if it's better then what's in your car. What do you have now?

Those front sturts aren't coilovers. They are strut springs. 3 blue dots indicate the spring rate, which I can't remember right now. They also indicate that the inserts were Koni adjustable inserts. However the inserts could of been changed at any time.

So, still no way to tell if they are better then what you have or not.

The rear are stock shocks.

Ok well I am fairly certain that they have been changed over to that car. It would have come with just the plain stock setup. My car is the same way. I will know more when I get to look at my car in the morning and can tell for sure that it is different. If they are koni adjustables then I am sure they are better than what I have now.

Even if they are Koni's in there, they could be the original ones, so they could be shot. But it also depends on how much your going pay for them too.

I already have them. I bought the not-so-whole car for next to nothing and those are on there. I just want to know if it would be worth the switch. They appear to be in good shape.

Look under the hood. If they are Koni adjustables then there will be an adjustment pin. Those are the same markings I had on my 1983 bone stock springs. 140# springs if I remember correctly. Those rear shocks look stock too. I am willing to bet the whole thing is stock. Here is a pic of what the adjustables should look like under the hood...

Found a pic of the three blue marks too... totally stock. And if you look at the "P" in the triangle on the rear shock I believe that means they were factory installed so those are stock too.

DSP, someone has replaced your inserts with Koni inserts. Stock ones dont have the pin on top, but an allen head. And those are definatly Koni's. Stock koni's from the factory also have a colar around them at the top of the housing.

You can get Bilstein adjustables, but be ready to spend some money. Koni is the cheapest adjustable shock & strut for these cars.

The only way to know if they are good are to put them on your car and see how it feels.

HPS, I put those on there in 1993. I just replaced them, under Koni warranty. All I was trying to show there was the spring. Sorry for the confusing pic. I know the springs were stock and they had 3 blue paint marks. That was all I was trying to show... should have cropped the picture but I was lazy last night

No worries!!!! Just didn't want anyone else to get confused with it. Wish I could remember the link that said what the colors meant. I have the same springs on mine. I know there was also red dots that were heavier springs, but again, can't remember exactly.
