Ignition Switch, Sunroof, Windows?
I replaced the power steering lines this week and now have 3 more problems which I think are related.
1. Power windows operate without the key in the ignition. I don't think this is normal. 2. Battery keeps going dead with the car parked and the doors opened for a few hours for cleaning. Never had this happen before. 3. The engagement arms on the sunroof will not re-engage the sunroof. With the sunroof in and the ignition on the middle spot the sunroof switch does not work. It has always worked perfectly. My first guess is there is something wrong with the ignition switch causing all of this. What does everyone else think and how do I check it?

Was the rear hatch light turned to the "on" position, the car doesnt need to be turned on for the battery to drain that way. Just like the dome light, if you switch it on and leave, the car doesnt shut it off.

I found the problem with the sunroof. The black metal tung on the front of the sunroof panel was loose so was not making good contact with the proximity switch. At least I can secure the roof.
Does anyone know if the windows are supposed to work without a key.
