Looking for central FL mechanic

Hey guys, I was wondering if you know of a great mechanic near Sanford. Or even better if one of you guys are good at working on the 944's and would like to assist me (with negotiated pay) on the side.
I need to replace my cam seal gasket and don't have the specialty tools.

Let me know!

Thanks!

i'd love to be able to help, unfortunately i'm too busy to make the trek up to sanford. i've heard many good things about red bone garage in winter park, so as far as a reputable local shop - that'll be it.

you're absolutley sure it's not the cork seal on the absolute aft of the cam tower?

Hey !
I am located in Kissimmee Fl south off the Orlando Int Airport. I am sort off new in this area. Just move from Naples late last year. I have sort off a shop set up. When I move from Naples, I close my buss and brought all my equipment and tools.
I am not sure how far Sanford is, or how far you are willing to drive. But we have to cool the engine down before we can work on it.
PM me if Interested !

I am pretty sure it's not the cork seal. Unless the oil is traveling it seems like the leak is right around the rear most cylinder. I put my hand under the the tower and it seemed dry, though I am going to certianly check again tonight.

Kissimmee is the south end of town and I'm up at the north end. Unfortunately I can't drive the car down there it would loose too much oil. I'll either need someone to come to me or I'll have to have it towed to a shop.

The guys I use have been in town since 1985. They are extremely well versed in the 944. It would be a little far for you, but IMHO it would be worth it to get the car to a good baseline point. www.werkshop.biz

I would also recommend the werkshop. They put the suspension on my 924S while I was going to school in Daytona. Great work!
