Is my starter shot or what?

I think my engine problem could of been my starter the whole time. (unless both are ****ed, yay) I noticed that my car has been getting progressively harder to start and now all that happens is a clicking from the solenoid. The engine might turn over a bit every couple tries but thats it.

A Low battery might still able to turn the engine but not enough to fire the Injector.

I had the same starter problem. Only clicking from the solenoid. Tooks a few tries before it would crank. I pulled the starter out, took it apart, and cleaned up the armature and all the contacts. Been working great ever since.

The battery was brand new and I was jumpstarting it since it gets drained from all the turning over.

Takes about 10 minutes to remove the starter. just disconnect the battery first. It really is worth just taking it to get it tested for FREE. Then you will know if it's the starter.

have the battery checked as well. I just had one go bad on me and it wasn't even 2 months old.
