stock steering wheel removal?

Hi guys i just received an after market steering wheel from a fellow pelican and need to know how to remove the stock one. i have an late 85 944 and want to know if i need any special tools or anything i should know before i attempt to do this job ...thanks

A big ol' socket (24?) and a paint pen to mark center.
