Strut tower brace clearance issue
I attempted to install my Racing Dynamics strut tower bar a few nights ago, but found that it now has clearance issues. I have the Lindsey Racing intake manifold and it the brace won't clear it, the end plate sits nearly 1/2 above the strut tower. I have borrowed a KLA 968 strut bar, and it seems to fit. I would like to know what others have used for a strut brace bar in conjunction with the LR manifold.

I got a racing dynamics bar on mine. I have an early 944, an 83. There is a difference in bar design for an early model to a late model.
The only interference I incurred was the bar made a nice impression on the hood insulation. I took care of that and remove the insulation and replaced it with hood pad purchased from the 928leathershop. It's nicer and cleaner - it clears the bar (not that it was a major interference). As you can see from the pic, the manifold doesget very close to the bar; I clearly see your problem.
