Squeaky Belt
Ok, so I drove my car for the first time after getting the timing belts changed and a/c charged tonight. The Problem I had was that the alternator/ ac belt is squealing.
Does anybody know how to remedy this? Plus I was wondering where to find new motor mounts. mine are shottt.

If the belt is too loose it will squeal. Tightening it a bit could solve this. Do not over tighten it though.

i just posted on another thread...
my belt squeeked (horribly!) i replaced it and tensioned it correctly but the noise remained only when the ac goes on. the culprid on mine is the ac compressor. yours might only need replacement ( a pain in the ...) and tensioning.

Well I figured out why it does. I went to tighten it, and took my skid pan off only to see in horror that there was no bolt on the tensioner on the engine end. I didnt have a bolt at the moment, so I decided that im going to take the car back into the shop where I got the timing belt done Monday, and have them put it back in. In the meantime I tried loosening it, so I could fit a bolt, but I couldn't make the tensioner fit.
Anybody have a suggestion on how to loosen it? I am trying with a 17mm open wrench, and it worked a little, but at the first sign of it stripping I stopped.
