Airbag light!

My airbag light came on after I removed the instrument panel. I thought that only could possibly happen is when you remove the steering wheel which I didn't. Anyway, I read up on clarks demo on the airbag light and I cant even find the molex connector. Where exactly is it, approximately how small is it, and what color is the molex connector? I'm looking under the dash of the passenger side and I look like an idiot looking looking for who knows what underneath there. Does it matter what size alligator clips and the gauge of the wire I get? Thanks!

It's a white connector, way up there in the front of the footwell.

Don't worry about looking like an idiot, just practice being a contortionist to be able to even fit into the space

Have fun!

If the car is a '90 or '91 S2 or 968 it will have a round plug connector in the passenger footwell. You cannot reset these without the Bosch 'Hammer' Tool or some aftermarket on board diagnostic software with plug adaptor.

I have an 89 944 turbo. I still can't find it for the life of me. Is it on the left or right foot's side? Any pictures would really help! Thanks!

how deep in it is the molex connect anyway? Does removing the glove box help a bit?

See the white connector in the upper, center of this picture? That's it. This is in the passenger footwell, and you are looking at the bottomside of the glove box.

I found it! It turns out that the molex connector had a red sleeve over it. I kept over looking that since I was looking for a "white" object. The air bag light is now off. Thanks for everyone's help!
