AC compressor stays on when button is out
Car's a '90 S2: When I want AC, I push the button with the snowflake; it gets cool. When I push it again, and it pops back out, it keeps on cooling. Is there a relay that might be stuck or something? I hate to burn gas and wear the compressor out when I don't need to. Anyone know anything about the AC system? Thanks....

there is a relay in the fuse box under hood, should be sorta clear.....and you can also remove the a/c button but is a pain to reinstall. just be prepared for springs and ball bearings to pop out. may just need lubed, might be sticking...try the relay first.

I have a 'Recirculation' button that DOESN'T stick
Takes me about 10 tries to get it to stay in, and the flaps open/close each time I press it. Is THAT just the button? =\ SmileWavy |
yes, that is just the button. Known to happen.

Amazing-- my recirc. button wants to stay on, won't pop out the first few tries. Where do I look to watch the flaps moving?
