'87 924 S catalytic converter

Just got the car and went to go get it inspected. It failed due to a bad converter.

Any tips/advice?

Here she is coming off the transporter.

WOW a towing company that actually strapped the front down correctly! Impressive.

Believe magnaflow has a cat for our cars, would have to check their site though for the part number. If I remember right it's pretty cheap.

Is the sunroof taped shut?? I would have been suspect if it didn't come with at least one thing wrong with it. What fun would that be?

Yeah the sunroof leaks a bit. It's a neat little car. Looking into adding sway bars and upgrading the wheels.

Hi, you might want to consider putting on an aftermarket cat for your 924s. I picked one up for under 60 dollars for my 83 944 and was able to install it using a muffler band clamp in the front part from napa and conventional pipe, hangers, clamps to the rear of the cat pipe.

What is this "catalytic converter" device you speak of?
