why do I have 12v at both injector leads??

the connector that clips directly onto the injector, I can't get the car started, on going problem.... so I checked the voltage on the injector harness as per Clark's garage, ignition switch set to on, and I get 12v at both of the points in the connector. Clark's garage says only one point should have 12v, does this mean a bad computer??

Thanks
Kevin

I would say you have a few bad wires. Fairly common, happened on mine.

Clarks said only one should have 12V? is this while cranking or just on? If the car is not running or cranking then I think both are supposed to be 12V. When one gets a signal to fire it grounds out one side.

If only one side was 12V and the other grounded then it would be firing. 12V to both sides = closed (no current drop)

The DME actually grounds the circuit to fire as explained above.
