Ok this is the easy and painless way to remove the inner seal.
Purchase a 1 inch internal pipe wrench found in the plumbing section of your local hardware or builders store for about ten bucks. The one i purchased had to have about 1/2 inch ground off the end to allow the expanding cam to grip it but i have seen others that look like they would work straight out of the box. Only a few twists and it was out! I cant stress the usefulness of the Snap On snap ring tool also, easy in easy out.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1217809870.jpg |
