Question another oil pressure problem

i havn,t seen this yet. every thing has been fine up until about 2 weeks ago. it started when i was getting off the highway after a 40 min trip. my oil light came on.(gauge at under 1 bar) i revved up 2 a grand and it went off. still low but off. the next day same thing. i quickly changed oil to 15w40. now it doesnt drop as bad but when i first start it it has no oil pressure. i know i have a bad lifter but they all are loud till it pumps up. so basically my question is would the relief valve do this?

Recheck torque to Crank Bolt ~155lbs (put in 5th gear with E Brake
I believe that if it's low at idle and good above 2K Rpm's your Oil Pressure Relieve valve could be suspect. If it build really slow maybe be cracked pickup tube. And you can double check the Resistance across the Termals Should be ~7-12 ohms (0 bars) with ignition position one without car running.

i haven't checked the crank bolt but i have never had it apart. if this helps when i start it i have no pressure but it will go up to 5 bars. sometimes fast sometimes not. (dont know if its a coincedence but if i drive ten feet and mash the brakes sometimes it comes right up?????????) any inf would help. also i think i found the relief under the oil filter. is it easy?

^^this activity might be related to a cracked pickup tube...

I believe the only way to be sure is to drop the oil pan. Easier said than done. It involves beer, a barbecue grill, beer and some of you best wrench-turning buddies and, of course, some beer. If you aren't afraid of wrenches, you could do it yourself - if you can afford to have the car out of service for a few days.
