A little confused...Need a spark plug master reader

I pulled off my valve cover today to and I decided to check my plugs

For some reason they were really loose, in addition they had a thin powder white/brown coat...? I really do not think my car is running lean ??? I did use a gas additive the other day...??? Could this be the cause ??

Thanks Guys

Loose just means they weren't tightened down when they were put in.

Can you post a CLEAR closeup of a typical plug so we can actually "read" it?

If you have the Haynes manual it has pictures of plug conditions. I do but no way to scan it for you, perhaps someone here could copy and post it. But if memory serves me you are in good shape. Tannish is a good thing, grey is too rich and black is oil soaked and white is too lean.

Do torque them down!!! And the cap should be checked too, the caps are famous for backing out. I loctite mine because they seem to get loose on a constant basis.
