A current thread;
early 944 smogging up the world In this case I would suggest the solutions from "mistahsinclair". I am not certain, does UK have oxygen sensors? GL John_AZ Last edited by John_AZ; 08-14-2008 at 12:44 PM.. Reason: elaborate due to O2 sensor Q? |

Perhaps a bit of fiddlin' with the spanners ought to do it. Make sure the wing and boot are in good nick!
... couldn't help myself ![]() I think 'tick-over' = idle? and what emissions? Co2, Nox, etc?

Ok thanks yeh tickover =idle
have read the thread and must admit i didnt realise theres a bypass venturi in the airflow meter for idle Propably what the cause is anyway have unscrewed it a couple of turns to weaken mixture {i take it unscrewing weakens tightening richens ?} No way of telling if its made a differnce without takeing it back to the garage to do a test And theres no cat or oxygen sensor on uk model as for emissions not sure which one he said,but its fuel air mixture Last edited by markt944; 08-14-2008 at 02:44 PM.. |
