Refurbished The S2 Engine, Still problematic

Hey,

Its been a while, Lots has gone down. but bottom line is . im driving the S2 now and she's got issues.

I took her in to get a tune up and such, Ended up needing seals and the lot.. so i got this all done.

~air filter
~Timing belt and rollers, Balancer etc
~Front end seals
~Timing Chain and Tensionner
~New springs and shocks all around
~New brakes all around(disks and pads)
~Cap and rotor
~Spark Plugs
~Alignment
~Oil change
~ETC...

The bill was around 3300.00, Car flys and pulls hard still Yet i still have Three issues they never got the chance to get to when it was in, Apparently its race season and they were getting race cars ready for the weekend. They told me to come back on tuesday when they are back.

I kinda want to diagnose this before hand tho. So here we go.

~After the car is warm i have idle problems. Fluctuates between 1000rpm and around 600 rpm.. but never dies.

~Fans dont stay on for long ever, Engine never over heats, but you can hear the relay click on and off. Even when the car is off, the fan goes on and clicks off, tries again and does the same, etc..

~When under load and turning left(insert zoolander comment here) the car has a thick metal on metal vibration/rattling sound coming from the front engine area, but only when the car is leaning when turning or veering left.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

Could have bought my motor

My engine is for sale on Ebay for 2700 or 2200 for pelican members

it kills me to see how much shops charge for simple work I got in a huge fight with a German service shop a few months ago and almost knocked out the owner...that is another story..."come back we have to race our little car around the track" dont bother me little person that pays my bills !

This is the exact reason I am putting an LS1 in my Porsche...snobby Porsche mechanics who suck

Anyway the idle...check the idle control valve or the TPS...my car use to have a little flux in the idle...all I did was replace all the vaccum lines with silicone ones...that could have been dumb luck...

The fan issue:

lower temperature thermofan switch may need to be installed

Thanks for the engine offer and the info.. greatly appreciated.

Ill keep your engine in mind tho. May need a project one!
