Die Hard battery, I salute you!
Well, As I was getting project red blaze ready for a little test drive, I had totally forgotten that for the past couple starts I have been using my jumper box to start the car, I have a battery for the car but its been sitting on the garage floor unused for about 5 years. The water in the battery was very low and I could see the plates, So before I left for mexico last sunday I filled the battery with water and set it up on the charger and let it charge slowly for 8 days and nights, When I got back from mexico I removed the battery and did a battery test, To my surprise the battery tested good, I said hell lets try it out, Installed the battery and it Fired right up even better then it did with my jumper box. WOW 5 years unused sitting on my garage floor and it still works, So far so good, Now lets see how long it works for. Good Old DIE HARD.

In the Fires of Hell.....

Great to hear it, 924. When I lived in CT, batteries used to seemingly last forever.
Now that I am in the middle of Hell, they last for like 2 years max. The heat just eats them up out here. Really doesn't matter what grade/brand battery either. Keith
