Hatch wiper wiring
As I continue to take stuff off my 951 for a repaint, I've run into a problem figuring out where to disconnect the wiring harness that powers the hatch brake light and the wiper. Clark's Garage makes reference to a disconnect point, but I have not been able to find a likely spot for it. The cable comes out of the body at the left upper portion of the roof and then splits into two cables, one going to the light and the other the wiper. Both cables have a plastic sheathing with no visible connectors and are "bonded" into position along the hatch frame and glass. I just hate to yank something out of its position if there's a correct way to get the job done. Thanks.

That harness enters the C pillar through a rubber grommet. It then terminates in a small round white molex connector. If you remove the rubber grommet, then remove the screws that secure the rear quarterpanel carpet, you can see the small molex connector, which will fit through the round hole that held the grommet. The hatch wiper motor and third stoplight are now disconnected.
