Replacement mirror glass?

I was driving home from work today and the glass just fell out of my driver's side mirror and shattered everywhere!

A replacement glass from pelican/944online is pretty expensive...will this work instead:

yeah should work. Also check in the parts section on here, so many cars being parted (sadly) but not many people are looking for the mirror glass. GL

If you still have the support mechanism that the mirror glass is glued onto shure it will work.

Make sure it's not actually a piece of Mylar or mirrored acrylic that goes over cracked glass. That's about 75% lower than any glass source I have seen.

From under the mirror, simply turn the plastic locking ring, the mirror can then be removed from the casing. take that to ANY glass/screen shop nearby. They will fit in a new glass mirror, just like new, for about 25-30 bucks.

plastic mirrors are a PITA. they dont last long, and the one that PO put on my car nearly cased me to crash it on the way home.

remove the mirror mounting plate, take that whole piece to the glass shop, they will fit, and glue the mirror onto that piece themselves. it will be a professional job that will not come apart.
