Hi,
I have an 86 944 Turbo, the turbo wont kick in at its usual 3000-4000 rpms unless I rev it high then let off the gas pedal and then punch the gas pedal down again. When I shift from first to second even though the rpms are high enought to spool the turbo it wont kick in till I press the pedal to the floor let off the gas and then jam the pedal to the floor hard again. The shop I normally take it to can't figure it out. Thanks |

bad knock sensor or cycling valve. get an led and plug it into the KLR diagnostics with the car running and read the blink code. if you do a search, you will find more info on this.
