What kind of antifreeze to use

Please help quick. Just finished a timing belt- water pump job and I'm ready for a ride. What kind of antifreeze should I look for and is 50/50 ratio good for south Louisiana?

Thanks

Zerex G-05. Phosphate free, low silicates. Mentions Porsche applications on label, although not officially endorsed by Porsche. Endorsed by Mercedes and BMW. Nice gold color which should help with early identification of "milkshake" showing up in expansion tank, (HG/oil cooler seal failure).

I use Prestone Dex-cool. It claims to be silicate and phosphate free and is designed for aluminum engines. I've been using it for about 3 years with no problems, plus it's a tad cheaper than the regular stuff, at least where I get it.

+1 on the G5. Expensive, but less so than a warped head or clogged rad.

so if your rad is clogged does just a flushing do the job or is there something else that should be done?
