Manual Steering Rack F/S

I've taken the manual steering rack out of my '95 968 and am putting it up for sale.

Includes the rack, the half-shaft, and the late offset (post 87) tie rods.

Great for track purist; or anybody who doesn't want to bother with leaks and such!

E-mail me at flamthrowr@aol.com if interested.

Thanks,

Jason Judd

Yep; although I think you will need different tie rod ends.

i'm VERY interested! really in just the tie rods... i'm wanting to convert my 951S to manual steering... how much are you asking?

i'm thinking the tie rods are the same, or are there MORE different ones for M030 optioned cars...

the rack will work in the early car, you'll just need to order new tie rods, they're about 100 bucks for the pair.

i have a rack, and just need the late offset tie rods

I really don't want to break up the assembly, if it can be avoided.

If you're splitting the set, I'm interested in the steering shaft.

Think I'll wait a bit and see if I can sell the entire assembly before I decide to split it up...

Thanks,

Jason

I might be interested in just the rack as mine has alot of play in the center position.

How much are you looking to get out of it?

I have it listed for $750; but after considerations, I'm going to sell it for $600.

well as said if you do end up splitting it up, i'll buy the tie rods if they're any good. apart from that, do you have part numbers and/or where to get the tie rods? thats all i'd need really.

Hasn't the late-offset manual tie-rods become NLA (no longer available)? I'd be curious as to see how much Jason's set goes for -- I'm tempted to sell mine....

That is more $$ than I am willing to spend. I can't justify spending 20% of my car's value on a steering rack.

911paige... if he does decide to split the rack pieces i'll definitely use the tie rods, since you wouldn't need them.

911paige,

I think I'll have to pass on the offer of 3+, unless it's 3+++... Let me know!

Thanks,

Jason
