Power Bleeding clutch?

I know it is recommended to have the rear of the car higher than the front when bleeding the clutch slave cylinder. Does this need to be like this if I am using a power bleeder? Wont it push the fluid right through? I ask because it's going to be hard to get the ass end of my car above the front with me under it with my jackstands. Any inpout would help Thanks

You look at the way the slave sits, yeah, having the rear higher will help.

The bleeder is on the aft end of the thing, so having the rear higher will help make sure you get all the bubbles out.

Much easier to get the butt up higher then the car. Just jack it up and put the stands under the ends of the torque tube. Plenty of room to get in there then.

Make sure you block the front wheels so it doesn't roll on you!!!!!!!

can you still bleed the slave if the front and rear are at the same height?

i'm going to try and do mine tomorrow but i'm not sure i have the supplies nor room to jack the rear higher than the front...

yes you can, but you might not get all the air out.

a motive power bleeder is the best way to go - push it through, don't pull it though, like with a vacuum bleeder - i've tried all kinds of setups, and this has been by far the best 40 bucks i ever spent

lifting the rear is one way of resolving the bad reservoir design - the key though is to keep the pickup point immersed in fluid

yes I just order one and it will be here tomorrow. I had to wait for the new clutch pipeline anyway.. Anyone who needs a Motive bleeder and wants to try it out when I am done I will lend it to you for the cost of shipping and a pack of smokes
