Snub nose completed

Due to a minor hit I needed to replace the nose panel and front bumper.. I gave the body shop the used replacement parts for paint and had them fill and smooth the front bumper for me..

I put the car back together this weekend.. I like the new look ~

Nice! What shop did the work? I could use some paint attention on my car, and I'm just over the NH border in Lowell.

Scott Wrights Auto Body in Exeter.. He's been in business for 20+ years and does great work.. I always see high end (BMW/Jag/MB etc) cars there.. He also has 2 unreal 69 Camaro's..he does resto work on older muscle cars as well.

He's not cheap.. and he won't mickey mouse stuff. I brought him a used center nose panel, headlight covers and front bumper.. he stripped them all bare before prepping for paint. He filled the holes on the bumper for me as well.

Once all the paintwork was done, I did the install of the parts.. it was a little more labor intensive since the early cars have that nose panel spot welded on and I used a later model panel to replace it which bolts on.

I'll post a couple before/during pictures below..

I like Fuchs.. I had them on my last 944.. However, for a really really nice set it'll cost at least a grand and I'm not willing to spend that much. The Cookie Cutters are light and easily found for short money.

I'm thinking about refinishing a set of them with a polished lip and body color centers.

Here are a couple pictures of the car before damage, with damage, and during the fix..

All in all, with buying the parts and getting the paint work done, it cost me a grand. I'm just happy the headlights/hood/radiator etc were not damaged in the hit.
