Sunroof gone AWOL
Hi guys - evidently it is pretty common for the sunroof to act up. Other than pull the headliner down is there a way to get the fitting that attaches to the sunroof re-engaged with the roof? Mine has disconnect so the roof isn't secured at the back any longer and this isn't locked in place and can't be tilted.
Oh, and thanks for the coaching on the brake calipers. Stupid easy to fix once I actually stared at it a bit longer and nudged the caliper some. Thanks! |

There are very good instruction on clarks garage to operate and if required repair the sunroof. Follow them to the letter and if you have stripped the gears (I bet you did) be sure to adjust the clutch or you will find yourself ordering a few sets of gears and lying in the back of your car a few more very frustrating times.

Different sunroofs for the late 944's than they 944/924 series. But the most common problem is the stiped plastic gears on the late models. Clarks trouble shooting page- C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\Desktop\Clark's Garage Home Page.mht Hope you get it working so it doesnt fly off hen your driving

Twist the latches 90 degrees, let the roof fall in place, twist them back 90 degrees and fold the latches up.
