No such thing, but alot of 944-owners hang out here and also over on Rennlist. On occasion, people will organize fun-runs, BBQs, wrenching get-together, etc, etc... Just keep checking back here and on Rennlist.

Closest thing to a club apart from what Joe said above is the 944Spec guys who run with NASA. Check the NASA schedule for their races. Everyone is welcome to just turn up and chat -- no need to be a racer.

Thanks Gentlemen for the info. I see 944's all over the Bay Area Everyday. Still don't understand why there are so few options here. I always thought California was Porsche Heaven! Even tried to get New Lighted Keys cut for my 944--unheard of! Porsche Dealers won't even return my Calls. With so many 944's around you'd think you could buy parts @ Luckys or Safeway : ) I've been using Natales Auto Repair in San Jose for the tough jobs, but haven't really found any other reliable Shops closer to the City. Thanks for the Rennlist Suggestion & the others. I Know people working @ Nasa/Ames I'll check with them. Maybe someday I'll Start a 944 Club!

http://www.nasaproracing.com/norcal/ Whether your signed up for HPDE days to drive the tracks ($160-$180/day), or just showing up to hang out and watch races and hang out in the paddock ($10 for two days), look for the 944 corral.

You should look up High Performance House in Redwood City, great place for 944 owners.
