Adjustable Spring Plates?
Does anyone have any info on adjustable spring plates like the 911 guys use for a 944? I plan on changing my T-bars and thought it would be a nice mod to have adjustable spring plates as well to make ride height adjustments painless. I have searched around but haven't found any info to build my own or a supplier that sells them. Any help would great.

not sure what is different about the 911 ones, but isn't the adjustment in the 944 plate enough? do you not have that already? am i missing something here?

The aftermarket spring plates for the 911 that I have seen have an adjuster that looks like it has much more adjustability range than the 944 plates. The ease of adjustment looks like it would be worth the effort. I also thought it would make the torsion bar install a lot easier with more adjustment range so that bar indexing would not be such a nightmare. I am not sure if I am missing something or not so I figured I would find the answers here. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my original question. I guess I am just getting lazy as I get older and trying to find an easier way to do the torsion bars.

no worries - i think i may remember the ones you are talking about - are they the ones that have a bolt or something to adjust the arm, rather than the standard eccentric?

Yes, those are the plates I have seen. They look like they would be an improvement over the stock plates, but I just don't know and can't find any info.

have you tried paragon? i know they carry the ones for the 911 - no idea if they fit though, and not sure if they carry anything for a 944 series
other than that, i would try tarret |
