Seats-convert to heat AND sport?

I've been keeping my eyes on some heated sport seats for a LONG time and the prices are NOT coming down. I really thought that supply and demand would even out as our cars become older but people are still getting crazy money for these!

So, I noticed on this website that you can buy some of the foam inserts for the Sport seats. I have also found several different aftermarket heating packages. There are probably any number of upholstery shops that could fabricate these pieces also. Is it possible to take my non sports, get the sport sized upholstery and add the sport pads with an aftermarket head pack? It almost seems like the numbers would be better. Or, to put it another way, are there any other ways to 'build' a heated sport seat that make sense?

By the way, do you think sports with an aftermarket heat pack would lose value or gain?

I gotta have the sports and she has to have the heat!
