No speedo

I've replaced the sender twice, and still no go.
Can I test the circuit in some way? I have swapped from auto to manual and bought a new sender and gear.
Are there wires I had to switch or some other trick I didn't know about?

Thanks
-Brett

Brett,

I assume that your odo is working?! I ask because I just went through this recently but BOTH speedo and odo stopped. I too replaced the sender. I did not get an answer to the question you asked so hopefully this will dig up someones memory. Of note, my speedo/odo broke due to a power surge! Easy to diagnose once I pulled out the instruments.

Good luck!

I have no idea if my odometer works. I guess ill have to drive it a little bit further. I would assume that the odometer would not work.
Which one drives which? Does the odo drive the speedo or the other way around?
I've been in there before but I don't quite understand it all.
