Need pics of flat black phone dials

Hey guys, Anyone have pics of flat black phone dials on a red 924S. My 17 that are on the car are gonna be a problem for track use, I have the stock phone dials that are kinda in ruff shape with no tires, I was gonna paint them flat black and buy some tires and have a set of track wheels. Do you think they would look stupid???

I think real flat black would be really hard to maintain. Satin black would be easier and in my opinion look better too but that of course is subjective.

wheels

They would look ok for track use and they could not be any uglier than black cookie cutters and you see them all the time

Hmm. white on a red car is a classic motorsport combination, I'll dig up some pics I have somewhere of a red 944S2 with white D90s...

White looks great on red cars but is a pain to keep clean, especially when you use dusty brake pads. I basically stopped washing mine and they turned more of a gray color after a while. I paint all of my wheels darker colors now, just because i am usually pretty lazy and never clean my wheels. Gun metal and bronze are my usual combos now .

These were 15x7's

Not exactly what you're looking for, but here are my semi-gloss black phone dial track wheels on my 944.

I hope this is somewhat helpful...

That is my 924s with flat black "track wheels". I love the look of the flat black. The color is really easy to take care of.

I think flat black gives the cars a very aggressive racing look. It also hides the brake dust well.
We just did a set of 7" phonies in white and clear coated them afterwards. The brake dust wipes off pretty easily. They are on this 944 Spec race car.
