Here's the '83 944. I couldn't stand to take pics of the inside because it isn't vacuumed! seats are a bit worn, but overall decent shape.

Nothing special, sure is running good now though.

After running her a 100 miles today through some paces, I decided I'll have to buy one of my own so I can give the girlfriend back her car. Great pics all.

Purchased mine and brought it back to life over the course of 3 years...

And 3 weeks after selling it to a friend of a friend...I was very undecided about selling it when I did...I should of listened to my instinct...The new owner was involved in a DWI destroying the Porsche and another vehicle..3 years of hard work gone in seconds..Im hoping to own another someday..Here is a pic of it in the police yard..When I got word she was totalled,I went and snapped a shot of it with my cell...It was very sad to see the car like that sitting in the yard with the rain, and in that condition as I worked on her over the course of 3 years and she was near flawless,,and always garage kept..I loved that car..RIP babe

1988 Holbert Racing Catalog, page 81

Although the catalog references a 944 coversion, that's actually a 1980 924 turbo in the pics (ask me how I know this )

Very light, extremely fat tires, and with a few little Holbert moddies here and there..., She runs with the big dogs

I like the blue on the early cars. However, the wheels being chrome/silver don't mesh for me. I'd paint the center of the wheel the color of the car, but that's just my opinion, which matters little. I love the pics. Every one of you has a nicer example than I.

As you can see, the door strip is gone, but I'm not quite sure if I want to glue it back on. Don't mean to hijack.
