Folks
I just purchased a 924 T and was running fine. Was idling before I took it for a drive and it just died. Now it cranks over but wont start. I have tested the fuel pumps which are pumping at correct rate. Replaced dist cap & rotor. Voltage @ battery 12.8V however for voltage test Haynes manual (Ch 5 sec 22, fig 5.11 pg 132-133) there is no voltage reading to ignition control module. All other electrical readings (resistance & voltage) seem fine . What am I missing here. Why would there not be voltage reading to the ignition control unit? Thanks in advance! ![]() |

This is kind of a lame response but I'd take this to 924.org. You're likely to encounter more expertise on the early cars, especially the turbo, over there.
