Brake wear sensor wire harness
The brake pad light warning on the instrument cluster is on. Brake pads and final sensors are OK (I think).
Tested continuity on the brake wear sensor wire harness, it is OK. Does this mean the wire harness is functioning properly - or that it has nothing to do with the brake pad light? I just touched one terminal and then another one at the other end until the meter bumped. Also in truth, I should just replace all the final sensors, so this could still be the culprit. But the question still stands about the wire harness.

Those sensors are a pain. I decided to eliminate the warning system since I'm intimiately aware of the condition and wear periods on my pads. I made the decision to do that when I changed the pads and rotors and every time I tried to install the plastic plug on the pad, it would break. I cut the wires about 2" from the round connector on the strut (brake pad side) and twisted the wires together. Then I got some liquid electrical tape from Home Depot and painted two coats on the twisted wires. No more warnings or problems with the broken sensors.
